1. Service Requests & Booking Confirmation
- Our sales team contacts you through Expedition Egypt's official email address or official phone numbers.
- We reply within 24–48 hours of receiving your request at the latest, depending on our workload.
- Once we understand your needs, we send you the details of the proposed service or program, along with the price in US dollars or in local currency, as available.
- After you approve, our sales team coordinates with you to confirm the booking and make a preliminary reservation.
- We then send you the available booking confirmation documents, such as hotel confirmations, vouchers, and flight tickets when they are part of the service.
2. Payment
- The total booking value and the amount due are made clear to you before your booking is confirmed.
- Your booking is confirmed once we receive the required payment, according to the booking terms agreed with you.
- Payment terms vary depending on the type of service and tour program.
- Any additional fees or costs are explained to you before your booking is completed.
3. Cancellation & Refunds
Our cancellation policy varies depending on the type of service and when you cancel.
Trips during Christmas, New Year, and Easter

Fees for cancelling or changing flight tickets are subject to the airline's terms and conditions. A 7% bank fee also applies to all refunded amounts.
Force majeure
If a government or airline issues an official "NOT TO TRAVEL" warning for the destination, the amount you have paid can be converted into travel credit or a Travel Voucher to use on a future trip with Expedition Egypt. Flight change or cancellation fees are subject to the airline's terms and conditions, plus any applicable bank fees.
Refunds
- When a refund is due, it is made to the same payment method you originally used.
- No refunds are made if you do not show up for your booking (no-show).
- Any airline fees or bank fees are deducted according to the applicable terms.
4. Hotel Bookings & Cancellation
Hotel bookings are subject to each hotel's own policy and cancellation deadlines. We explain the hotel's cancellation and refund terms to you before your booking is confirmed. Fees may vary depending on the hotel, the cancellation date, and the travel season.
5. Private Car Bookings & Cancellation
Daily private car rentals are subject to the booking and cancellation terms set for that service. We explain the cancellation policy and any applicable fees to you before your booking is confirmed.
