Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to Egypt. On arrival at Cairo International Airport, your tour manager meets and assists you (including help with the entry visa if needed). Transfer in a private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Check-in and review pick-up times for the trip. Overnight Cairo. Meals: welcome drink, dinner.
Day 2 - Pyramids and Old Cairo
After breakfast, visit the Giza Plateau: Great Pyramids, Sphinx, and Valley Temple. Lunch at an Egyptian restaurant, then Old Cairo: Hanging Church, Abu Sirga Church, and St. Barbara Church. Overnight Cairo. Meals: breakfast, lunch.
Day 3 - Wadi El Natrun
Drive with your guide to Wadi El Natrun (~120 km north of Cairo), linked to the Holy Family’s journey. Visit four monasteries: Anba Bishoy, Baramus, Abu Makar, and El-Suryan. Return to Cairo. Meals: breakfast, lunch box.
Day 4 - Fly to Luxor — East Bank
Transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. On arrival, board your Nile cruise. Lunch on board, then Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple on the East Bank. Overnight on the cruise in Luxor. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Day 5 - West Bank — sail to Edfu
Valley of the Kings, Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and Colossi of Memnon. Return to the cruise; sail toward Edfu with lunch on board. Afternoon tea, relax on board. Overnight on the cruise in Edfu. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Day 6 - Edfu and Kom Ombo
Visit Edfu Temple (Horus); horse-drawn carriage to/from the temple. Sail to Kom Ombo; visit the double temple of Kom Ombo. Continue sailing to Aswan. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Day 7 - Aswan
Unfinished Obelisk and beautiful Temple of Philae (Isis / Hathor). Return to the cruise for dinner on the Nile. Overnight on the cruise in Aswan. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Day 8 - Fly to Cairo
Breakfast on board, disembark, transfer to Aswan airport for your flight to Cairo. Meet on arrival and transfer to your hotel. Optional Abu Simbel tour can be arranged separately. Overnight Cairo. Meals: breakfast.
Day 9 - Cairo to St. Catherine
Private vehicle from Cairo to St. Catherine (~6 hours). Check in and relax. Overnight St. Catherine. Meals: breakfast, dinner.
Day 10 - Mount Sinai & St. Catherine Monastery
Early pick-up (~02:00) for Mount Sinai with a Bedouin guide; descend around ~07:00. Visit St. Catherine’s Monastery. Breakfast at the hotel, then drive back to Cairo. Overnight Cairo. Meals: breakfast.
Day 11 - Departure
Transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight home. Meals: breakfast.
