Day 1 - Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to Egypt. At Cairo Airport, meet your Expedition Egypt representative for assistance through customs and formalities. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and time to relax.
Day 2 - Great Pyramids & Egyptian Museum
With your Egyptologist: Giza — pyramid of Cheops (last Wonder of the Ancient World), Chephren, Great Sphinx, and Mykerinus. Lunch at a local restaurant. Egyptian Museum — pharaonic treasures spanning over 5,000 years. Return to hotel; evening at leisure. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
Day 3 - Day trip to Wadi Natrun
Early departure by private A/C van via desert roads. Visit Deir Al Baramus, Deir Anba Bishoy (St. Pishoy), Abu Makar Monastery, and Deir Al Suryani — the four surviving monasteries. Return to Cairo; evening on your own. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
Day 4 - Coptic Cairo & Maadi churches
Old Cairo: Hanging Church, St. Sergius (Holy Family tradition), Church of St. George, Abu Seifein, Santa Barbara. Mostorod: Virgin Mary Church. Matariya: Holy well and Holy Mary tree — a resting place of the Holy Family. Final night in Cairo at leisure. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
Day 5 - Departure from Cairo
